The tranquil side of e-Luminate

As a photographer, I constantly work with and around light and so this festival has been a real celebration of the core of my work…

Tonight, it is with the absence of light, that it has really hit home quite how much this is the perfect event for a photographer, perhaps something to do with the ‘change of pace’ in the installations/events I saw today.

It’s been a very inspirational few days…with more to come..

If you click on the images you can see them in a larger size and correct dimension.

First up was a moment in the chapel in Jesus College at the start of the light tour:

Then onto the Cambridge Buddhist Centre on Newmarket Road – my first time in this building:

Then a moment of high pace, chasing the walking tour (somehow I ended up running!) up to the Mathematical Bridge installation and other installations around the city centre:

Before ending up in The Light Hub on Parker’s Piece to hear Concenda in a very different and special choral performance:

It’s been a great day to be a photographer! Friday (108 of 110)
